The mid-term test has just finished．It was so difficult that I felt as if I have been hollowed．A friend of mine told me that he would make a difference in this test．I just smiled，for I could say nothing but to wait．
To my surprise, I’m not so unlucky as I thought. My English results are the highest! I couldn’t believe my ears when my teacher told me that. I remembered that I was depressed when I achieved the second highest marks in English last term. At that time, I made up my mind to make a progress. I spared no effort to study English and now, I have just made it! I am so happy that I don’t want to think of anything else. Although my Mathematics is very poor, which makes me the 20th place in my class, I’m not sad. I’m proud of my progress.
